The Profile of a Female Cheater

Just exactly how do we detect a female cheater? Are there any physical attributes found only in cheating wives? Where do we find these cheating women? Is there such a thing as an archetypal cheating woman?

The infidelity arena has completely changed. Women have turned the tables on men as evidenced by the considerable number of infidelity cases initiated by women. We have long looked upon the male specie as the ones who would probably cheat on their spouses. Why this is not so anymore is something worth thinking about.

There were a number of studies conducted to determine the profile of a female cheater (existing and probable). The studies, though not in any way conclusive, revealed a number of interesting details. Some of the determining factors considered in these studies include the looks, age, profession, job level, place of residence/work, intelligence , and religion.

Combining the results of these studies, we came up with a picture of a woman between 30-45 years old who occupies a mangement position and lives in the urban area. Other results can be co-related to this picture to get a clearer perspective. Studies show that women who occupy male-dominated jobs such as lawyers and financial consultants have more tendency to stray because of their perceived level of command on others. Art careers such as actors and painters also appear to be high-risk jobs for temptation due to the level of openness to extramarital relationships. Working environments that necessitate regular interaction with men are also seen as rich breeding grounds for infidelity. There is no considerable amount of data the would reveal the connection of looks, intelligence level and religious affiliation with cheating.

All these simply seek to describe a female cheater but with the many exceptions we see from the ones cited, we have yet to discover a single uniform profile of a female cheater.
