From a Safe Distance

There is one place to be ideally situated in the matter of infidelity- anywhere far from it. Seeing the infidelity drama unfold before your eyes can be a particularly relishing adventure as long as it does not involve you. Observing others fumble is much safer than participating in it. When you are in it, you are bound to get your hands dirty, so to speak, instead of being an innocent bystander looking on the frailties of another.

But what if infidelity comes knocking at your door uninvited? Would you know how to keep yourself safe from it? Would you even fight it if it enticingly beckons at you? What would you do?

Suddenly you are no longer seeing infidelity or possibilities of it from a safe distance. The attractive woman living next door has recently been regularly asking your husband for help for all imaginable household problems. Even your male boss has been extra appreciative of your looks and showering you with gifts lately. The most discomfiting part of it all is that you and your husband appear to be enjoying the extra attention from these people. You wonder how it would be if you or your husband give in. What if both of you did, will your marriage survive?

Infidelity happens when it is allowed. It cannot do its harm if it will not be entertained. Keep yourself and your spouse safe from it. It is far easier to prevent it than to break free from it once started. Be at a safe distance from infidelity.
