What if your competitor for your wife' s affection and attention is her boss? Would you tell her to leave and find another job? Would you keep quiet and just hope it ends soon because your family cannot afford a loss of income? Would you tell the boss' wife about the affair? Would you be the one to leave her before she has the chance to do it herself?
We often think that the answer to the question of what to do when you find out that your wife is cheating on you with her boss is quite elementary. You confront her and her boss. Believe it or not, prevailing economic hardships can sometimes make this reaction not as automatic as it should be. So the unthinkable happens and the affair is allowed to continue as the undecided husband looks the other way.
Human pride and reasoning tell us that no economic gain can ever cover the mistake that is called infidelity. We do not "sell" our spouse to another man or woman in exchange for advantages in work such as promotion or salary increases. It is also a fact that a cheating wife may be being forced to agree to the situation with her boss at the threat of losing her job.
While most women are generally brave enough to face the consequence of rejecting a boss' sexual advances, not all women are. Sometimes, it depends on the level of vulnerability of a woman. Threats of job termination usually won't work on women who are financially stable and are not burdened with family obligations. Women who cheat with their bosses either do it because they like it or are just threatened to do it.
