Cheating with the Stars

What does Sandra Bullock, Elin Woods, Kate Gosselin, Jennifer Aniston, Elizabeth Hurley, Christie Brinkley, and Shania Twain, have in common with Elizabeth Edwards and Hillary Clinton? Although they are all famous in their own rights, the last two mentioned stick out as sore thumbs, not being part of the entertainment world as the others are. They do however, share a common denominator - a cheating husband or partner.

There were recent additions to this list including Maria Shriver, Demi Moore, Heidi Bivens, Huma Abedin and Kat von D. In typical "cheating with the stars" fashion, these recent additions each provide a distinct aspect of cheating. Maria Shriver found competition in a long-time household help. Demi Moore found hers on a much younger woman which is of special note because of the considerable age gap she has with her husband. Heidi Bivens was victimized by a former cheating victim in the person of Jennifer Aniston. Huma Abedin never had a chance from the very beginning because of her husband's seeming propensity to expose himself online. Kat von D assumed the victim role after playing the role of the other woman with Sandra Bullock's husband every time she caught her man cheating for the umpteenth time.

Other infidelity cases exposed to the public were not as regular as the others. The wife of Hulk Hogan claimed he had an affair with a fellow male wrestler which he countered by suing for defamation. Kelley Osbourne's fiercest competition for her boyfriend turned out to be a male awaiting gender reassignment surgery. Ali Landry, the wife of Mario Lopez for two weeks felt it was more than enough time when she discovered he "messed around" with another woman during the bachelor's party.

As "entertaining" as these stories appear to the public, we should not forget that these people suffer as well , maybe even more because they have to go through it under public scrutiny.
