Health Issues of Cheating

In a study conducted about the incidence of AIDS in a particular country, it has been found out that the use of artificial means like condom cannot stop the spread of the disease on their own. Further investigation revealed the direct relation of human behavior with the steady increase in incidence rate. Forming a large part of this behavior is the prevalence of marital cheating.

Cheating on a marriage or any relationship obviously includes having sexual relations with other people besides the legal spouse or the regular partner. Health experts have been trying to explain for some time now that having multiple sexual partners increases the risk of contracting diseases such as AIDS . This recommendation has received varying degrees of acceptance ranging from full acceptance to full rejection.

Many would rather risk it and have the pleasure of indulging in extramarital relationships while putting their hopes of protection on certain contraptions and devices. Although these devices are credited with some degree of success in offering protection, the risk lingers especially if the cheater maintains more than one affair. Having multiple sex partners including professional sex workers make it difficult to contain a disease especially if its existence is not yet known to any of the participants including the one who introduced it to the group.

Doctors always say that prevention is the best cure but not many people heed this advice. Being faithful cannot only save the life of the prospective cheater but also his/her loved ones. But alas, this is a solution that most people find inconvenient and so many suffer the consequences brought about by the health issues of cheating.
